Now we know why he didn't go. He found out about it on TV at the same time we did. No seriously the aide that knew about the March decided that it didn't need to be brought to obamas attention.

Obama not showing up or at least sending someone has flabbergasted a lot of people. All this time and they can see what he now is. He'd rather set at home and watch football than stand in unity with the other leaders of the world. Wonder what all the leaders from those other countries thought. Do you think they'll want to back us if we need them? Do you think they feel they can depend on us? Not as long as he's in charge.

We did have representation by the French ambassador. I can't find it right now, but I read earlier that the US sent 1,500 troops to France to help protect the citizens and to help find the terrorists. Initially, 60 countries were supposed to send high ranking officials to the march, but only 40 showed, most citing security concerns.

Even the Whitehouse is admitting it's blunder. It's not that Obama, himself, didn't go. It's that no high ranking official from the US was present. And that includes Holder who was there for another reason entirely. Terrorism is a global issue, not just a European issue. And that's a theme sung by Obama over and over every time he solicits assistance from our allies. Underestimating the need to share solidarity with this international team against terror is appalling.

If Netanyahu would stand up there in front of the line then I think it would be safe. MSNBC said that most rooftops were lined with snipers. The Israelis don't take chances. He just makes us look bad.

I just think that the lack of logic from the Right is almost overwhelming.
Immediately following a terrorist attack, the Right seems to think it would be wise for our President to go to another country, where the attack actually occurred? And where the terrorists are still at large?
Sure, it makes perfect sense. Divert American military attention to keep an eye on the POTUS, and leave US targets more vulnerable.
My God, sometimes the Republicans are so embarrassing. I got the email, too, and I know that we're supposed to shame Obama at every chance. But can we at least not be so transparent about it?
