If the economy is doing so good, why is it #1 on the list of important things needing to be addressed

Just over $10 trillion when he took office, now $17.7 trillion.

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the portion of the increase related to deficits from budgets produced by the Obama administration is $5.1 trillion.

Our economy is not improving. The labor participation rate, which is the number of employable people working divided by the total number of employable people is the lowest it has ever been. That indicates that people have just stopped looking for work, thus making the unemployment numbers look pretty good. And I'm not saying this is Obama's fault. It is the collective fault of everyone who has held the office in the last 50 years. All of their policies have led to where we are now.

I have to spend MORE to survive. Is that how the government calculates a stronger economy?

Classic misrepresentation from hangsleft...he forgets to mention that 1/3 of the country is now on welfare, and the liberals thrive on creating dependency.

Ya, let's raise taxes and force more of the creative producers out of the country!

Cutting taxes is just bad business sense. It's great to get people to like you but if you make less money then you buy less stuff, same with the government, if they have less money to work with then expect less out of them. No roads or infrastructure, forget schools, who needs police protection, oh and no more social services.
