BaptistLady,

My Christian church is accepting to gays both as members and clergy. As I believe Jesus would be.....

You might want to know that many churches have gay ministers. The churches chose these ministers; the government had nothing to do with it.

There are also gay organists, choir directors, Sunday School teachers, and members of church committees and leadership.

You don't have to attend those churches if you don't want to.

You wouldn't really feel free to hate like you do currently.

Yes it's a sin and a choice.
Do you think the government should force gays into our churches

as a xtian, that is exactly what you should do...open your doors and then maybe you'll open your heart to them...just as your savior would have done and if you truly had faith...you would too

The government can't do that.

The next thing they will want to force us to allow gays as members and allow them in our ministry.

and if you truly believed and followed the xrist you would do just exactly that...the xrist did not exclude folks...the xrist INCLUDED all peoples that...you don't even know the ministry of your own savior!!!

You can run your ministry as you please. You just can't force the rest of the world to comply. Heck, you can hate anybody you want to in your church.

Is a cross-dresser a transgender just expressing their inner feelings?

This slippery slope issue was predicted, back when the gay marriage demand was being debated.
And the demented advocates assured us it would NEVER happen.

Who was lying?

What are you talking about?

So giving everyone equal rights appears to be an issue with some. That's a real shame.

It's a good thing HB2 takes away everyone's rights.

You don't get it. Our values were spit on by the liberals when we allowed gay marriage. You took prayer out of schools, you want to force us to not speak out against these sins.

So your so-called values has more weight than rights of others?

Freedom of religion also means freedom from religion.

You need to do some research about prayer and schools. You may be surprised what you find.

your values may have been spit on...but your rights were not! no one took prayer away from anyone...kids can pray anytime they choose to do so, but you're responsible for teaching your own house that ability, not anyone else....they did remove it from the schools, but not to benefit any one particular group...would you have allowed islamic prayer rugs in public schools...or any other religious symbols besides that of a baptist persuasion...no one is forcing you to not speak out...you still have lots of freedom to speak your mind...

We should be worrying about our children and grand children. Their safety should always be the number one priority.

Our country continues to spiral down. Gays and perverts have more rights than than Christians.

Please explain.

Christians shouldn't have rights. Crazy people should be controlled.
