I really don't know River. I think they got upset when they realized I'm not for banning all guns, so they had to go after something.

What are you talking about and what does it have to do with concealed carry?

LOL nope wrong. Good try though. The stove has changed but not the process.
When you sit in a deer stand after baited, using artificial deer pee, etc you've changed the process.

hangs,
So, using YOUR holier than thou standard, a person who uses a modern stove and not a pot over an open fire isn't really cooking either?

Trapping is very very Cruel, the animal will suffer for hours and sometimes days before dying, of course Dems love that thought

Not with hand and feet warmers, coffee, ipod, scope etc.
Did you know it is illegal in NC to bait and kill a bear? Heck you can chum off the coast.

hangs,
baiting and trapping has been a form a hunting and providing a food source since before there was a written word, it's being smart.

mommotwo (view profile) | Posted 10:51 am, 01/06/2017 | So I can't take issue with that particular form of hunting but you can disagree with trapping. I get it. Do you don't get it. Even though you disagree with it...it's legal. Nothing you can do. |
You said it.

Nope. Not at all. It's just that you said it wasn't hunting. It actually is hunting.

So mommo, what you are saying is if something is legal we should just accept it? I want to be completely clear as to your stance on this particular point.

hangs,
If someone goes out and actually tracks their food source, then OK. And yes, I would prefer they use a bow and arrow, now that is skill.
Would this be a crossbow, compound bow or old fashioned longbow? Where do you stand on the arrows being used, todays lightweight aluminum with razor-sharp broadheads or do you propose homemade wooden arrows with sharpened stones for arrow heads, and actual feathers for fletching?

And yet again Conny, you haven't disappointed with your lack of actual contribution to the conversation.

hangs, your last two posts are typical of liberal/left/loser logic. Not only do you want to proscribe how folks may choose to feed themselves, you want to limit how they can do it.
Just like you idiots to bring a hammer to a gun fight.

Hangs, it's all legit. You get that, right? If they are abiding by the laws, then it's legit hunting. Just because it's not for you doesn't take away from it. I'm not a fan of trapping. Actually I hate it. But, when it's done legally I have no right to tell someone else they can't trap. I can keep them off my land but other then that....none of my business.
