Like my almond milk. I believe the cows milk producers don't like the competition from soy milk, coconut milk and almond milk producers so cows milk is the only milk there is.

Interesting that the FDA defines Milk as:
133.3 Definitions. (a) Milk means the lacteal secretion, practically free from colostrum, obtained by the complete milking of one or more healthy cows, which may be clarified and may be adjusted by separating part of the fat therefrom; concentrated milk, reconstituted milk, and dry whole milk. Maybe the real issue is why doesn't the FDA enforce its own definition on product labeling?

Sometime later we need to look up the sponsors of the bill, and just how much money they get from the milk industry...
Politics stopped being about helping and protecting the people a long, long time ago. Now it's just about who can funnel the most money into their pockets, the fastest.

After they survived the cows tail swing and hitting them in the head, the big flies and the cow using the bathroom they would be happy to go back to Raleigh.

Those lobbyist need to come to a farm sit down under the cow and milk her one time. Maybe then they could think up something better to pass for a law.

In an attempt to show just how much power the lobbyists actually have, our lovely NC government is now trying to make it illegal to call soy milk, almond milk, or coconut milk... well, to call them soy milk, almond milk, or coconut milk!
The new laws says that you can't call it milk unless it comes from a healthy hooved mammal.
I assume this also means that you can't use "milk" to refer to women's breast milk or Milk of Magnesia.
