i only offer this up as part of your topic today. so many times we hear that all of these issues of slavery, voting, equality are always a republican/democrat divide. the freeing of the slaves was a republican initiative right? yeah sure it was. let's step forward in history a bit .... a woman's right to vote. remove party affiliation from you mind and check out this map.

If you object to the government knowing you are married you can simply do a private ceremony, and never get a licence, if your loved one agrees with you. There your problem is solved. We should ask the government to get out of the marriage business all together. It should be of no concern of the government whether anyone is married to anyone else. Get rid of the married question on all applications and forms.

Just because something is legal doesn't make it right, this ruling proves this. My earlier post was misunderstood. Would not want my child dead but could understand one of them getting angry enough to kill someone. Will never understand why a man would want to be with another man and the same with women. This will be my last comment on this subject because a person sick enough to think this is ok is not smart enough to reason with.
