If you want to consume a GMO based product, go with the soy. You gotta love those "frankenfoods"!

Yeah my regimen which came from reading alot of musclemags when I worked at a gnc store all pretty much had a consensus that you eat a gram of protein per lb of bodyweight.... Some called for a gram per lb of lean body mass which, while easier to consume the fewer grams required, also required that you take the extra step of calculating the bmi which is difficult to do accurately with caliper measurements as they are not very accurate.. With my ridiculously high metabolism, i opted for the higher consumption based on a gram per pound of bodyweight. My natural bodyweight is around 175 lbs, which on.my 6'3" frame, looks anorexic. I calculated my protein consumption one time based on single food items. To consume 175 grams per day u would have to eat 6 good sized chicken breasts per day......or 30 eggs.....or 45 tablespoons of peanut butter per day.....or around 1.3 gallons milk.

At 6'3 you should weight between 190 and 210 even then if you are in good shape and have lots of muscle you will look very skinny.

Speaking of hemp protein, unfortunately you can't get it through smoking much to my dismay and best efforts

My regimen works well for me.. I gain about ten lbs a month and the small amount of unwanted baggage i gain with the muscle i can easily shed with some cardio and minor diet modifications but i spend an obnoxious amount of money on food and supplements.... Add a gym membership and associated fuel costs and it turns out to be a very expensive lifestyle. And every time I have to quit for financial reasons, injuries, blah blah blah, the weight melts off of me as quickly as I put it on....and when Im able to start again, I have to do so from scratch.

I bet chickens run for their life when they see the Rock coming their way

The Rock eats like 10lbs of food a day. Yep... Ten pounds! Everyday! Over 5100 calories! That's a whole lot of food for one man. But he is a BIG man ;-)

(sigh)

Whey is the most bioavailable.....I used to buy the highest quality with the best anabolic additives blah blah blah but my regimen involved 2-3 shakes a day, which after a couple of months, became so unbearable in taste and nauseating to drink, that I.had to.choke them down as quickly as I could and spend the next ten mins trying not to vomick....
Couple that with an equally atrocious creatine drink a day and the regimen quickly becomes impossible to do. I then stopped worrying about protein quality and other anabolic additives and bought products only based on taste and my ability to stomach them without vomicking. I switched from fruit punch creatine monohydrate to the much more palatable creatine hcl. It not only tasted better but requires a small amount of water thus making it quick and easy to drink. However I was never convinced that it was anywhere near as effective as monohydrate.

I use to make my shakes with Whey, 1 raw egg, and strawberry Ensure

I don't eat as scientifically as bk....I don't have the discipline.....im also blessed/cursed with an extremely high metabolism. My natural bodyweight is far below what would look buff on.my frame. When I start or restart a regimen I lift at least 3 days a week with little to no cardio and i have to eat to the point of discomfort. Consuming enough calories for me to gain weight is burdensome.
The protein requirements of the regimen are the most difficult which is why I have to consume upwards of 100grams worth of protein shakes per day. I eat lots of carbs and fat with the protein so my weight gain usually comes with some unwanted baggage which I can quickly burnniff with cardio once i reach my target weight/size. It is possible to gain muscle while losing fat and gain size without unwanted baggage but it requires a scientific diet like bk's and discipline that i don't have

The way I eat is not for everyone but it works for me. Food and supplements I spend around $600 a month.
