Yeah, but his grunting singing style still comes through. Kind of like Eddie Vedder, they both make all their songs come out the same.

Have you ever heard the album Nebraska? It's totally different from, say, Born to Run.

I'm sorry, but Bruce is hugely overrated. That has nothing to do with his politics. Hear one song and you've heard them all

Hey, not a bad idea. He's done plenty of acoustic sets, especially in conjunction with certain albums, like Tom Joad.
Man. The crowd that would come to see that.

I had higher hopes for abrhams given what he did with Star Trek. I was disappointed with the episode IV redux. But other than that, yes he did better than 1-3

That's correct. And let's be honest: the second three (where Anakin became Vader) weren't very good. I'm pretty happy Abrams took over.

When Lucas originally pitched Star Wars, wasn't his vision a 3 trilogy series (9 movies)? I don't remember the total now, but I remember reading the studio never thought that type of franchise would ever sell and they picked the one story they felt could stand on its own if it flopped and they didn't make any sequels

Lucas was upset that Disney (and Bad Robot) pretty much told him they didn't need his ideas on the new movie. He, for instance, didn't want the retro script for The Force Awakens...which I enjoyed thoroughly, but couldn't help but notice was a beat-by-beat repeat of A New Hope.

I don't know about that. After episode 3 there were pretty good tumors that Lucas was working on 3 more. I remember seeing something about he was asked if there would be another Indiana jones and he said maybe after the other Star Wars films.

I believe the only reason we have new Star Wars movies is because Disney bought him out. Right?

Looks like it was produced by Lucasfilms, a studio that the white slavers gave George at least a Billon dollars for. It was distributed by Walt Disney Studios.

I think Disney pretty much handles the Star Wars movies now. Remember George Lucas's white slavers comments?

Those are owned by Disney, but I don't think they are technically produced under the Disney logo. Aren't they under MGM or some other studio that Disney owns?

Doesn't Disney do Star Wars and Marvel movies now?
