As long as Dead and Company doesn't back out.
I'm cool.

If you could retain what you read, you would understand I have offered I am aware of Springsteen's benevolence.
In the link provided, Springsteen donated a Fender, Mom's lasagna, some tickets, another guitar which was auctioned off for 750k, inclusively (You understand, this wasn't Springsteen's monetary contribution).
If I am mad cuz he turned down $12 million from a major corporation, that could have helped veterans? Yep.
Mad cuz he could have donated concert monies to LGBT groups to help my friends? Yeah...seems pretty misplaced while also hurting North Carolinians, innocently, showing up for a day's pay for a concert event.
If he wanted to make an impact, he could have marched his big testicular package to the steps of the NC capital,Monday morning, and stuck in McCrory's face, a check to a NC LGBT Equality group.
But, no. He had to hurt people truly far-removed from the situation.
Sometimes the effect is not so effective.

Of course, my favorite thing of the day was when the other one said people should be fired for wearing clothes.

Being that I lived and my work takes me to Charlotte? Yeah, I'm kinda familiar with the area.

What will happen when a transgender gets assaulted or raped in one of those Charlotte restrooms? They'll probably sue the State and win.

Looks like more are wishing the had the sense our Gov has. Trouble that NC won't have to deal with.

Again, I'll say I cannot fathom individuals who relish, at the expense of their fellow North Carolinians, an entertainer making a "point".
You'll laugh as a waitress loses tips on an anticipated concert night while banging your face into the computer screen to protect a group who haven't even complained of being prohibited of using the bathroom facility of their choice.
Springsteen turns down $12 million to "prove a point" while many of the Americans, he so ferociously screams for, are still living on the streets, our American veterans.
All this "point-proving" is pointless.

Oh, yes. I'm sure the bathroom section was included just to make people mad. Folks do that all the time in anti-discrimination legislation.
Jesus Christ.

Glut, you should travel to Charlotte yourself, find some transgender people and speak to them. I'm sure they could answer your specific question much more thoroughly and completely than we can. If I had to hazard a guess, most of the abuse they have endured has not been officially reported because they have been dismissed and marginalized, by the establishment and bigots.

The point being, the bathroom law was pointless. It was included with the expectation of raising the ire of many facets of the population! You're being played, dude. It was doomed to fail.
