Lol, in my experience UNC fans are usually ones who didn't go to college and therefore just picked a team. Or Yankees who move down here and start pulling for UNC so they feel like they fit in.
Oh but Obama is a yuge UNC fan.
I wish NC State had a better basketball team. They're better at everything else

No worries about salary, if coach Roy only gets $500 a year the title is so sweet & rewarding. As for the rest of coaches it's only....

If I was Roy I would go talk to Coach K. Coach K has a 7 million dollar salary advantage over Roy.Roy gets 550 thousand per year in salary Coach K gets 7.2 million.

I didn't say it after the fact. I said it in the exact same paragraph in which I used the word "we" that you're trying to argue about. Not only did I clearly state that I was a fan, the post in which I was clearly responding to was addressing fans specifically. Umpire, people don't hate you just because you are stupid. You sad silly woman/man. No, I am not a member of the basketball team. I am not part of the coaching staff. However, I am a fan and as a fan, I won last night. I mean, I know you must get stoked when the Angry Anuses of America Club gets a win in the Arbitrary Arguments For Turdcutters Competition, so surely you can relate. D***.

I think that your average person pays attention to their school, the schools in their conference and the teams that are standouts in some way or another. The average person doesn't keep track of all of the teams, certainly not to the point of being able to quote the number of times that each team has made it to each round in the tournament. For instance, I couldn't tell you the number of times that Princeton has been in the NCAA Tournament because I don't really give 2 ****s about Princeton athletics. While there are some individuals who invest more interest in national teams, I don't think that is typically the case for your average fan. I know that, as a Tarheel Fan, I don't keep up with most of the teams outside of my team's conference, with some exceptions that offer a reason to spark interest.
