As a grand parent of a 130 lb. STATE Champ.. I will be a West supporter...but Wilkes Central is not to be scoffed at..each one of these boys from the Wilkes County Schools, as well as any across NC...are at times not given their Atta Boy for their achievement as ineeded other sports...but back to the question I am A Blackhawk Fan and always will be. .
CONGRATS to all who participated and reached their goal to go to State. .but watch out for North a new Old Coach and staff are in the HOUSE...

I'm really impressed with the dedication it takes to wrestle. These kids are sometimes over looked. They have my respect for going to pratice etc to become better.

WC doesn’t have a wrestling program nowhere near the level WW does. They train harder and wrestle more than the other county schools and it shows on the mat.

West won, most of the matches were exciting to watch. West has had a good program for years.
