Mountain Valley Conference football teams (that made the playoffs) did not win their first round games! Let basketball season begin!!

Wow no easy way to go 1st rd for anyone in Wilkes. Thats why they play the game though. N.Rowan is flat out nasty. That is a terrible match up for N. Wilkes. N.Rowan has tons of athletes and speed to burn, plus their strength of schedule was top notch. East Wilkes will also have a tough go of it against Walkertown. There strength of schedule was amongst the best in 1a, by playing all the bigger schools in Winston, they are battle tested, and will be a nightmare for EW. Wilkes Central and RS Central will be a great match up. On the downside RS Central if im not mistaken is in Shelby's conference, so nothing WC has athletically compares to Shelby so RS Central probably wont be phased by anything that WC does. WC can win this game though. West Wilkes vs Eastern Randolph will be an uphill battle as well. Good luck to all Wilkes County football teams in the playoffs. It's been a great year thus far.
