Here is the perfect recipe from scratch....Enjoy
1 c. cocoa
1 c. oil
2 c.sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
4 eggs, well beaten
! Tbsp. vanilla extract
dash of salt
1/2 c. chopped nutmeats, if desired
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into 9 x 13-inch, greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350 for 20-35 minutes until test done.

I can't help you with made from scratch, but I buy brownie mix at Save a Lot and sometimes the cheapest brand at Walmart...the Save a Lot one is better. I think it is fudge brownie. I mix up the batter and pour half in a pan. I then place a broken up Symphony bar with almonds on that. Pour the rest of the batter on top and bake as directed. This makes a great brownie. You can also experiment with other candy bars.
