It sounds like a cross between Twin Peaks and American Gothic.

I read the series before the series started, books are always better but so far the show is decent.

Is this anything like the Shady Pines Retirement Village Sophia escaped from on The Golden Girls

Interesting fact: The author of Wayward Pines, Blake Crouch, is from Salisbury. He started publishing independently on Amazon, and became very successful. My favorite book of his is "Run." And, I used to work with his dad. Small world & so happy for self-made, small town folks.

I've not made up my mind yet Trut, but I will continue watching it to see how it goes.

I've watched "Turn". It's pretty good. Needs more killing and sex though.

What do you think so far? I'm liking it but have been disappointed by M.Night Shyamalan in the past, so I'm not apprehensive about the outcome.
